Lillie Alma (Pearson) Robertson

ROBERTSON, Lillie Alma - On December 22, 2014, surrounded by her family, Lillie died peacefully in her sleep in her 100th year at PeopleCare in Tavistock. The eldest of three children, Lillie was born in Everett, Ontario on September 7th, 1915 to John and Mabel Pearson. Mother to Pamela Ann Orth-Norris and her husband Laird and to son J. Brian Robertson (deceased 2006) and his wife Linda. Grandma Lillie will be missed by her eight grandchildren and twenty-one great grandchildren. A brave war bride and dedicated mother, Lillie had a love of music that she nurtured in her daughter, Pam. A charter member of the Delhi United Church Women, Lillie was devoted to her church and church community. Lillie also enjoyed being part of the IODE and spending time with her bridge friends. Lillie is survived by her sister, Helen Monck of Keromeos, B.C. and pre-deceased by her brother Fred Pearson (2002). Friends and relatives will be received at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Wednesday December 24th, 2014 from 10:00-11:00 a.m. The memorial service will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Jane VanPatter officiating. Cremation has taken place. Interment later in the Stewart Cemetery, Merlin, ON.
