WENZEL, Lillian C. - Peacefully with her loving family by her side at Sakura House, on Monday April 23rd, 2012. Lillian Christine Wenzel (nee Martin) of Woodstock in her 68th year. Beloved wife of Douglas "Doug" M. Wenzel. Much loved mother of Patrick Shea and Melanie (Carl Saunders) Shea all of Woodstock. Cherished daughter of Phyllis Martin and the late William Martin. Dear sister of Albert (Sharon) Martin of St. Thomas, Dennis (Margie) Martin of Ingersoll, Larry (Marilyn) Martin, Garry (Keith) Martin all of London, Dorothy Christo of Norwich, Jean (Mike) Nudds and Sam "Sandra" Martin all of Woodstock. Also survived by mother-in-law Margaret Anne Wenzel, sister-in-law Nancy Martin, and brother-in-law Lindsay Wenzel. Survived by her many nieces and nephews. She will be missed by her pet dogs, Nickel, Sadie and Bossie. Predeceased by her brother William Martin, and brother-in-law Fred Christo. Lillian was devoted to her loving family and loved her time in the gardens and in nature. There will be no public visitation or service to be held. A private family service will be held at a later date.
