BURTON - Peacefully at his home in Woodstock on the morning of Thursday, November 13, 2008, Lile Louis in his 67th year. Beloved husband and best friend of 35 years of marriage to Jane. Loved father of Robert (Miriam) of Calgary, Kelly of Edmonton, Mitch of Woodstock and grandad to Sydney and Thomas. He is also survived by his loving family; brother Bruce (Mary Ann) and sister Corinne (Ralph) and survived by Jane's brother Gerry of Nevada and his niece and nephews. He will also be missed by his Aunt Marie and Stepmother Hilda and her daughters, Carole (Hajo) and their daughter Nicole (Kelly) and Lana (Peter) and many cousins. He was predeceased by his parents Chesley and Mabel Burton (Mattheson). Lile was an employee of Canadian Tire Corp. For over 29 years in Woodstock. He was a proud Mason and member of St. John's Lodge # 82, Paris 1965, Mercer Wilson Lodge # 678, Woodstock 1974, Woodstock Lodge of Perfection, PMWS Centennial Chapter Rose Croix Woodstock, Moore Consistory Hamilton, Honourary Inspector General (330), Supreme Council AASR Canada, Member Scottish Research Society Washington DC. Friends and relatives are invited to join the family at the Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, (519-539-0004) on Sunday, November 16, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. There will be a Masonic service at the funeral home on Sunday evening at 6:30 pm. At Lile's request there will be a private time of remembrance for the family at a later date. Interment will take place at the Caledon Cemetery near Princeton. Donations to the Woodstock General Hospital, Canadian Cancer Society or the St. Elizabeth Health Care would be appreciated.
