Leonard Carl "Len" Cowell

COWELL, Len - At his residence on Monday September 30, 2013. Leonard "Len" C. Cowell of Caressant Care, Woodstock and formerly of Beachville in his 86th year. Beloved husband of Juanita L. (nee Thorogood) Cowell for over 54 years. Dear father of Lori Field and her husband Brian and Tom Cowell all of Woodstock. Loved grandfather of Katie, Jenni, Ashley, Matthew, David, Dean, Alexis and great grandfather to Emelia. Dear brother-in-law to Donald Thorogood (Lena) of Richmond Hill and Fay Hacon (Robin) of Kitchener and survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by his parents Cecil and Velma (nee St.Clair) Cowell, parents-in-law Bill and Hazel Thorogood and his brother Donald Cowell (1981). Len was a lifetime member of Beachville United Church, St. John's Masonic Lodge # 68, A.F. & A.M., Ingersoll and was a past member of the Beachville Optimist Club. Friends and relatives are invited to join the family at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Wednesday October 2, 2013 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm, where the funeral service will be held in the chapel on Thursday at 2:00 pm with Rev. David Van Patter officiating. Interment in the Beachville Cemetery.
