Newcombe Leona Peacefully at Village of Glendale Crossing, on Tuesday September 4, 2012. Leona (Bell) Newcombe of London in her 83rd year. Beloved wife of Donald Newcombe and dear sister of Merton (Marjorie) Bell of Sault Ste. Marie, Elsie Bell of Toronto, Earl (Nora) Bell of Blind River and Gerald (late Norma) Bell of Iron Bridge. Leona was also a loving mother to Laura (late Douglas) Minzen, Dave (Janice) Newcombe, Daniel (Brenda) Newcombe and Susan (Tom) Legree all of London. Also sadly missed by 8 grandchildren and 6 Great grandchildren. Friends may call at the Harland B. Betzner Funeral home, 177 Dundas Street Thamesford on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9PM. Funeral Service will be held at The Thamesford Community Centre (Middleton Street south of Dundas) on Friday September 7, 2012 at 11 AM, with Mr. Glenn Richards and Mr. Willie Bryant officiating. Interment Zion 7th Line Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy memorial donations may be given to The London Regional Cancer Program.
