WEST - At her residence on Saturday, March 20, 2010, Leola Mary West (nee Murphy) of Woodingford Lodge, Woodstock, in her 86th year. Beloved wife of the late John Sherman West Jr. (1996). Dear mother of Patrick of Jasper, Alberta, Joseph of Sault Ste. Marie, and Julie of Guelph. Loved sister of Teresa Hillsdon, Nora Gale, and Beatrice Lapier (Harold), all of Woodstock. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Leola was a member of the former St. Mary's Catholic Church. Friends will be received at the Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, (519-539-0004) on Tuesday, March 23, 2010 from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 pm where the funeral liturgy will be held in the chapel on Wednesday at 11:00 am with Father Richard Dales officiating. Interment later in St. Mary's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Parkinson Foundation would be appreciated.
