CARTER - At her residence on Tuesday May 23, 2006. Lenore "Norie" M. Carter (nee Butcher) of Caressant Care, Woodstock and formerly of Manitoba Rd, Woodstock in her 91st year. Beloved wife of the late Derwin R. Carter. Dear mother of Bob and his wife Carole, Dave and his wife Marion and Sally Carter all of Woodstock. Loved grandmother of Cathy Poole and her husband Phil, Nancy Barnes and her husband Tim all of Woodstock, Gord and his wife Nathalie of Ottawa and Brenda Reeves and her husband Darryl of London. Great grandmother of Matt, Nathan, Nick, Peter, Tyler, Nicole, Derek, Aron, Justin and Daniele. Norie is the last surviving member of her own family. She is predeceased by her 2 sisters and 6 brothers. Norie was the first President of St. David's United Church, Woodstock U.C.W. Friends may call at the R.D. Longworth Funeral Home, Woodstock (539-0004) on Friday 2:30 - 4:30 and 7-9 pm where the funeral service will be held in the chapel on Saturday at 11:00 am with Rev. John Furry officiating.
