EATON, Len - Surrounded by his loving family at the Woodstock General Hospital on Thursday August 4, 2011. Leonard "Len" James Eaton of RR# 2, Embro in his 75th year. Beloved husband of Norma Jones-Eaton and formerly Eileen Finley (Don). Cherished father of his "first litter"; Shirley Cook, Rhona McIntosh (Tom) all of Woodstock, Scott Eaton (Tammy) of Embro and loved father of his "second litter"; Becky Jones-Eaton and Jamie Jones-Eaton both of Embro. Dearest grandfather of Sarah (Ross), Amanda (Greg), Brittney, Jonathan (Elisha), Adam, Travis, Chaz, Keelie and great grandfather of Emily, Nicholas, Elijah, Austin, Megan and Kaylee. Dear brother of Muriel Thomson, Helen Masson (John), Allan Eaton (Audrey) and brother-in-law of Kathleen Eaton all of Scotland. Len is also survived by many sisters and brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and extend family and friends. Predeceased by his brother Charles Eaton. Len was a peacekeeper in Germany serving with the Gordon Highlanders as a Private Medical Orderly, was a member of Thistle Masonic Lodge # 224 Embro, AF & AM and Past President of the Caldedonian Society. Friends will be received at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, (formerly Longworth's) 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Tuesday August 9, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm, where the funeral service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday at 11:00 am. Interment to follow in the Old Log Church Cemetery. If desired, memorial contributions to the Lung Association would be appreciated. Online condolences at www.brockandvisser.com A Masonic service under the auspices of the Thistle Masonic Lodge Embro # 224, AF & AM will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday evening at 6:30 pm.
