Lawrence Harold "Larry" Brown

BROWN, Larry - At the University Hospital, London on Wednesday April 20, 2016. Lawrence "Larry" H. Brown in his 74th year. Beloved husband of Mabel J. (nee Houle) Brown for over 30 years. Dear father of Michael Brown, Maureen Brown (Shane Lockley), Linda Swan (Thom) and Carlene Smith (Pat). Loved grandfather of several grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is also survived by his extended family members out west, many friends and colleagues. Predeceased by his son Paul Matson. Larry was a past employee of Boehmer's/Dufferin as a ready mix driver for over 35 years. He was a member of the Oxford County Naval Veterans Association (Navy Club) and the Royal Canadian Legion Br. # 55, Woodstock. Friends are welcome to join the family at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Saturday April 23, 2016 from 1-4 pm. A celebration of Larry's life will follow the visitation after 4:30pm at the Navy Club, Woodstock. Cremation will follow. If desired, memorial contributions may be considered to the Navy Club.
