McArdle, Laverne Elmer - After many years at Woodingford Lodge, Woodstock, passed away on Wednesday October 19, 2011 in his 81st year. Beloved husband of the late Eva (nee Rabouin). Father of Terry (Michele) and Bradley. Father-in-law of Susan. Loved grandpa of Terri-Lyn, Kate-Lyn, Jeff, Andrew, Jessica and David. Dear brother of Dorothy Flood, Robert (Joyce), Leona (Joe) Matika, Shirley (Marlin) Thompson, Ida Jean (Gary) Paquette and survived by his many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents George and Edna McArdle, sons; Laverne and Brian, daughter Wendy Carothers, brother Gordon, sister-in-law Audrey McArdle and brother-in-law Les Flood. A time of private remembrance will be held by the family at a later date. Cremation has taken place. Interment in the McTavish Cemetery at a later date.
