DAVIS, LaVerne Gilbert - At University Hospital, London on Saturday May 16, 2015, LaVerne passed away peacefully in his 92nd year. Beloved husband and best friend of the late Annie Davis (2014). Loving father of Kathryn (Josip) Mrkoci and Helen (Peter) Pflugfelder. LaVerne`s sense of humour and his life stories will be greatly missed by his grandchildren Andrej, David (Jo), Lara (Neil), Robin (Jason), Paula (Ivan) and great-grandchildren Julia, Ewan and Madeline. Predeceased by his brothers Gordon and Howard. Cremation has taken place. A memorial gathering will be held at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (519-539-0004) on Friday May 22, 2015 from 1-3pm with words of remembrance held at 3pm.
