THOMPSON - Peacefully at the Woodstock Private Hospital to join her husband, on Wednesday June 10, 2009. Laura L. (nee Miller) Thompson of Woodstock in her 96th year. Beloved wife of the late Alex Thompson (1993). Dear mother of Jim Thompson of Woodstock. Grandmother to Cheryl Bodnar, Sean Thompson and his wife Sherry and great grandmother to Talia, Bryn, Sean, Elijah and Brennen all of Innerkip. Sister to Marg Renwick of Cambridge (Preston). Laura was a longtime member of Bethany Lutheran Church, Woodstock. Friends may call at the Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004, Monday June 15, 2009 after 12:30 pm where the complete funeral service will be held in the chapel on Monday at 1:30 pm with Reverend Dave Hammer officiating. Cremation to follow with interment later in the Preston Public Cemetery. Contributions to the Bethany Lutheran Church Building Fund would be appreciated.
