SMITH, Larry E. - At the Woodstock General Hospital on Wednesday June 11, 2008 of Woodstock in his 63rd year. Beloved husband of Donna J. (Nee Carter) Smith for over 31 years. Dear father of Clifford Blair and his wife Susan of West Lorne, Dan Cornell of Edmonton, Mike Cornell of Kamloops, John Cornell and his wife Cathy of RR# 4, Woodstock and Paul Cornell and his wife Denise of RR# 1, Beachville. Loved grandfather of Thomas, Amanda, Matthew, Shawn, Danielle, Dylan, Cody and Katy. Dear brother of Gerald and Terry Smith and brother-in-law of June Smith and their families. Also survived by his many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by his brother Carl. Larry was a retired employee of CAMI Automotive, Local 88 and was a member of the L.D.M.A. (Lost Dutchmen's Mining Association). A memorial service to celebrate Larry's life will be held at the Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Saturday June 14, 2008 at 11:00 am. Visitation will take place one hour prior to the service. Cremation has taken place. Contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society or the London Regional Cancer Clinic would be appreciated.
