Larry Pember

PEMBER - After a lengthy battle with cancer at the Woodstock General Hospital on Tuesday August 26, 2003. Lawrence "Larry" Edward Pember of Dundas St., Woodstock in his 66th year. Beloved husband of Yvonne Pember (nee Callin). Dear father of Daniel and his wife Irene of Manitoba, Lynn Korevaar and her husband Abe of Tillsonburg, Laura Pember and her husband Kevin Rhea of Woodstock and Jacquie Barnum and her husband John of Ingersoll. Loved grandfather of eleven grandchildren. Dear brother of Margaret Springstead and husband Carl, Dorothy Armstrong and husband Keith, Ann Reymer and husband Steve, John Pember and wife Sandy and Fred Pember and wife Bev, son-in-law of Sadie Callin of Woodstock, brother-in-law of Alice Pember of Woodstock, Ron Callin and wife Carol of Woodstock, Myrna Hilderley of Innerkip and beloved uncle of numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his son Bill, his parents Bill and Laura (nee Hall) Pember, brother Joe and his sister Elizabeth. Larry was a longtime friend and driver for Mike and Carmella Mason of Transdrive Transportation. Friends may call at the R.D. Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 539-0004 on Friday from 7-9pm, where the funeral service will be held in the chapel on Saturday at 1:30pm with Reverend David Joyce officiating. Interment in the Hillview Cemetery. Contributions to the Woodstock General Hospital Building Fund would be appreciated.
