TRIBE, L. Merle- At Woodstock General Hospital on Tuesday, June 21, 2011, Luana Merle Tribe (nee Chamberlain) of Woodstock in her 90th year. Beloved wife of Stanley Tribe. Dear mother of David (Carol) Tribe of Springford and John (Lynda) Tribe of Woodstock. Loved grandmother of Scott, Shawn, Paul and Douglas Tribe. Cherished great grandmother of seven. Dear sister of Ione (late Les) Bennett. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her siblings Ted (late Miriam) and Kathleen (Ernie) Turvey. Friends will be received at the Brock & Visser Funeral Home (formerly Longworth Funeral Home), 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, (519-539-0004) on Thursday, June 23, 2011 from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 pm where the funeral service will be held in the chapel on Friday at 1:30 pm with Rev. Dr. Muriel Carder officiating. Interment to follow at the Burgessville Baptist Cemetery. If desired, contributions to Woodstock General Hospital would be appreciated.
