Klaus Rudolf Gross

GROSS, Klaus Rudolf - Passed away at Ingersoll Hospital on Monday, January 5th, 2015 in his 91st year. Klaus was the beloved husband of Alwine Gross (nee Stratmann). He will also be sadly missed by his neighbours of 40+ years: David and Mary Jane Cowan and their children Kelly, Paula and Robert who were like family to him. Born in Germany, Klaus moved to Canada in 1952 in hopes of a better future, he was a painter of houses. His first wife Helen passed away in 1993. Klaus then married Alwine in 1994 and together they had 20 wonderful years together. Friends remember Klaus as being funny, but stubborn, was a great neighbor, and he loved dogs. Friends may join the family on Thursday, January 8th, 2015 from 12 - 1:00pm at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, Thamesford Chapel, 177 Dundas Street, Thamesford, 519-285-2427 where the service will be held at 1:00pm with Pastor Nathan Wright officiating.
