Klaas Visbeek

VISBEEK, Klaas - Gone to be with his Lord and surrounded by the love of his family at the Woodstock Hospital on Monday February 6, 2017 one day before his 98th birthday. Beloved husband of the late Janneke "Jenny" (nee Postma) Visbeek (Feb. 6, 2000). Dear father to Anne (Ralph) Koops, Jane (Vic Lockett) Kirkpatrick, Helen (Roger) Schildermans and Margaret (Brian) Keeping. Loved Grandpa to 13 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. Predeceased by his great grandson Brett (1991), by his brother Jan (1919) and by his sister Feikje (1997). Klaas is the last surviving original board member of Woodstock Christian School. He and his wife were long time members of Covenant Christian Reformed Church. Friends and relatives are invited to join the family at Covenant Christian Reformed Church, 410 Lansdowne Ave., Woodstock on Friday February 10, 2017 from 11:30 am - 1:00 pm, where the funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm with Rev. Dirk Meidema officiating. Interment in the Oxford Memorial Park Cemetery.
