REID - At the Woodstock General Hospital on Monday January 19, 2009. Kenneth Albert Reid of Woodstock in his 85th year. Beloved husband of the late Reta L. McIntosh (nee McLeod) Reid (1997). Dear brother of Fletcher Reid of Townsend and Donald Reid and his wife Zoria of Sudbury. Predeceased by his brother Robert Reid (1990). Ken will be much missed by his many friends and relatives and by the Coffee Gang that meets daily during the week. Loved uncle of many nieces and nephews and their families. Ken was a member of St. David's United Church, a past member of the Embro Star Lodge No. 229, a 30 year plus employee of the County of Oxford in the Roads and Works Dept. and enjoyed camping, fishing and boating. Friends may call at the Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Friday January 23, 2009 from 2:30 - 4:30 and 7-9 pm, where the complete funeral service will be held in the chapel on Saturday at 2:30 pm with Rev. Jane VanPatter officiating. Interment later in the North Embro Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Woodstock General Hospital or St. David's United Church would be appreciated.
