March 22, 1936 — May 5, 2010

PERRIN, Kenneth Wm....March 22, 1936 - Wednesday May 5, 2010. "To everything there is a season"...Ken lived each day to the fullest and now he rests with his God. Jan and his children, Drew and Deanna were privileged to call him husband and father. Drew, Mary Kathryn & children, Alexandra, Andrew and Matthew live in White Rock, BC. Deanna, Gary Lewis and their son Joshua live in Woodstock. Our precious granddaughter Tamra (2009) rests in God's arms. Ken's brother Bayne and his wife Bette live in Nepean and his sister Dale Perrin lives in Burlington. Jan's sister Irene Dernesch of Ayr and Joyce Harper of Kitchener. Dear friends Margaret and Lon Robertson of Niagara Falls have lovingly shared our journey for 51 years. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews and extended family. Ken was actively part of the minor hockey scene and willingly gave 30 years of volunteer time as he held many positions of responsibility in the O.M.H.A. He retired from the County of Oxford Planning Dept. In 1998. He saw many changes in his career. Please join the family as we celebrate a life well lived at the Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Thursday May 13, 2010 from 2:30-4:30 and 7-9 pm. A memorial service to honour Ken's life will be held at St. David's United Church, 190 Springbank Ave., Woodstock on Friday at 11:00 am with Rev. Jane vanPatter officiating. Interment later in the Hillview Cemetery. Memorial contributions in memory of Ken may be made to the Make a Wish Foundation, St. David's United Church or the Learn to Skate Program.
