Keith Arnold Latter

LATTER, Keith Arnold - Passed away at the Woodstock Hospital on Monday August 1, 2016 in his 92nd year. Beloved husband of Norma A. (nee Jones) Latter for over 67 years. Dear father of the late Lorraine (Robert) Stephens, Barbara (Ken) Yeoman and Andrew (Janet) Latter. Cherished grandfather of Brian Stephens, Kate (Bill) Semons, Paul (Nancy Bradley) Yeoman, Dan (Angela Bucciarelli) Yeoman, Tanya (Erik) Lamprea, Matt Latter, Allison Latter and great grandfather of Jillian, Wes and Aiden. Dear brother of Claire Tettmar, Neill Latter and Lionel Latter. Predeceased by his siblings; Raymond, Dudley and Enid. Keith served with the RCAF during WWII. He received his BA Degree at Sir George Williams University. Served as Camp Directors at YMAWAKA and Camp Queen Elizabeth. He was the General Secretary of the Woodstock YMCA for over 17 years. Keith was elected Alderman on Woodstock City Council and a councillor with the County of Oxford. He was a member of the Woodstock Rotary Club. He moved to Vancouver in 1981 where he was invited to be the General Secretary of the Main Branch YMCA. Keith was a 32nd degree Mason and had joined the Shrine Club and the Clown Unit. Since then he had become "Step the Clown". Friends are invited to join the family for a time of visitation at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Friday August 5, 2016 from 7-9 pm, where the complete memorial service will be held in the chapel on Saturday at 11:00 am. Cremation has taken place. Interment to follow in the Anglican Cemetery Columbarium.
