Kazimierz Reczuch

RECZUCH- Kazimierz, The journey has ended. Peacefully at Sakura House, Woodstock on Sunday February 26th 2012. Kazimierz (Kazi) of Woodstock in his 93rd year. Son of Maria (nee Pluta) and Stanislaw Reczuch. Kazi grew up in Krynica, Poland. During WW II he escaped through Germany, France, Spain and Portugal arriving in England where he served with the Polish Navy. He came to Canada in 1947. He was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather, cherished by his wife of 57 years to Elaine (nee Farmer), sons Bob, Terry and Teresa, John and Christine, Mark, daughters Karen and Lauren, grandchildren, Robin, Heather, Christa, Joshua, Rebecca, Kazi, Brittany, Kyra, Rylan, Corrin, Andrew, Tayya and Josh. He was a great grandfather of ten. Brother-in-law of Clifford Farmer and Marion Farmer (late Ted). Kazi was predeceased by his siblings Ryszarda, Antonia, Ludmila, Arthur, as well as a son Jim, grandson Justin and son-in-law Craig. Friends may call at the Brock & Visser Funeral Home 845 Devonshire Ave. Woodstock (519-539-0004) on Friday March 2nd 2012 from 2:30 -4:30 and 7-9 pm where the complete funeral service will be held in the chapel Saturday March 3rd 2012 at 11:00 am with Rev. Mark McLennan of Knox Presbyterian Church officiating. Cremation has taken place. If desired, contributions to the VON Sakura House would be appreciated.
