MACDONALD, Kathryn- It is with deep regret that we must announce that Kathryn has lost her valiant multi-year battle with cancer. She passed away peacefully at Sakura House Hospice ,Woodstock, Ontario on Thursday February 16, 2012. In her 49th year. Beloved wife and best friend of Steven Douglas MacDonald of Embro for 27 years and loving mother of her two daughters; Janet and Holly, both of Embro. Loving daughter of Jeanette "Jean" Clark and the late Robert "Bob" J. Clark of Evansville, Manitoulin Island and loved sister of her two brothers, Steven Clark of Fort Nelson, British Columbia and Sanford Clark of Sudbury, Ontario. Daughter-in-law of Ruth (MacDonald) Ross and the late Hugh M. Ross both formerly of Embro. Sister-in-law of Gordon (Michelle) MacDonald of London, Ontario. Kathryn also had a large extended family of aunts, uncles and cousins. She will be sorely missed by all. Kathryn was a lifetime member of OACETT and a skilled Instrumentation Technician and Industrial Electrician. She had been employed at Firestone Textiles, LaFarge Cement, and most recently at Labatt Brewing in London where she made many friends over the years. Although never one to take the limelight, Kathryn worked tirelessly in the background for many community fundraisers, associations, and events within the Embro and Zorra Community.
