MEZENBERG, Justin - It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Justin David Mezenberg on Tuesday, February 16, 2016 in his 17th year. Cherished son of Brian and Patricia (nee Scalisi) Mezenberg. Loving brother to Joshua Mezenberg. Beloved grandson of David and Lynda Scalisi and Gerry and Joan Mezenberg. Loved nephew to Glen Scalisi, Sheila Murray (Rick Smith), David Scalisi (Ashley Bloomfield), Jonathan Scalisi (Katie Small), Trudy (Steve) Carter and Tammy (Matthew) Giggs. He will always be remembered by his cousins; Eddie, Juliana, Dyson, Keira, Hailey and by his extended family and many friends. Justin lived life to the fullest. Whether it was playing basketball with his team Oxford Attack, W.O.M.B.A. or playing soccer with Embro Minor Soccer. He was a born athlete. Justin was very involved with his Youth Group at Holy Trinity Catholic Parish, Woodstock and was a counsellor and leader with Faith Alive Camp at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Stratford. He worked with Miedema Meats and especially loved his time at the Farmer's Market on Saturdays. He will be sadly missed by those he met and the hearts he touched. Friends are invited to join the family at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Monday February 22, 2016 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral mass will be held at Holy Trinity Catholic Parish, 1420 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock on Tuesday at 11:00 am. Interment later in the spring at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery. To honour Justin's life, memorial contributions to Canadian Mental Health Association or Holy Trinity Catholic Parish Youth Group would be appreciated.
