JONKER - At the Woodstock General Hospital on Sunday December 25, 2005. Jurjen "Jur" F. Jonker of Innerkip in his 76th year. Beloved husband of M. Jeanette Jonker (nee Lock) for over 51 years. Dear father of David and his wife Judy of Innerkip and Ruth Weaver and her husband Dennis of Embro. Loved grandfather of Angela, Heather and Natasha. Dear brother of Lucy James and her husband Jim of Georgetown, Fred and his wife Pat of Brampton, Lucas and his wife Greetje of Holland, John and his wife Doreen and Jim and his wife Sue all of Woodstock and brother-in-law of Ruth Ann Weisler and her husband Terry of Princeton. Predeceased by his sister Jantje (2000), by his brother Bill (1974), sister-in-law Fini Jonker and by his brothers-in-law Norm and wife Eileen and Henry VanderSluis. Jur had farmed in Innerkip for over 50 years, was a longtime member of the Innerkip Cemetery Board, was a volunteer with the Innerkip Fire Dept. for over 25 years and was a past "Village Father" in Innerkip. Friends may call at the R.D. Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 539-0004 on Wednesday December 28, 2005 from 2:30 - 4:30 pm only ,where the complete funeral service will be held in the chapel on Thursday at 11:00 am with Joan Hacock officiating.
