MARKLE, June Edward - Peacefully at the Woodstock Hospital,with his son and daughter at his side on Monday September 21st 2015. June Edward Markle of Woodstock in his 83rd year. Beloved husband of Veronica Mae Markle (nee Weiler). Loved father of Sally (Dan) Ferneyhough and Joe (Corrina Van Dusen) Markle. Cherished grandfather of Danielle (Devin) Ferneyhough and Erin (Adam) Dodds; Jessie, Lisa (Stu) and James Markle; Kyler and Danny Markle. He is also lovingly remembered by his sister Shirley Hepworth. Predeceased by his sons Danny (1998), James (2007) and by his sister Gwen Reynolds. June was employed with Commercial Print Craft in Woodstock for over 40 years, was an avid pool player, belonging to both the O.C.N.V.A. (Navy Club) as well as the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #55 Woodstock. Friends and relatives are invited to join the family at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave.,Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Thursday September 24th from 2-4 & 7-9 pm where the funeral service will be held in the chapel Friday September 25th 2015 at 2:00 pm. Interment at Presbyterian Cemetery. If desired, memorial contributions to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be appreciated and may be arranged through the Funeral Home.
