June G Bond

June G. Bond, known affectionately as June to her friends and family, passed away peacefully on December 4, 2023, at Woodstock Hospital. Born on May 4, 1934, in Woodstock. June's warmth and vivacity blossomed early and continued to touch the lives of those around her throughout her 89 years.

June was the beloved matriarch of a family that adored her deeply. She was predeceased by her cherished husband, Art, with whom she shared a lifetime of love and memories. Her legacy lives on through her devoted children, Linda (Scott) Hemsley, Tom (Wendy) Bond, and Louise (Michael) Letniowski. She was also a cousin to Jean Drury. June's joy was multiplied with the arrival of each of her seven grandchildren, Brenda, Julie, Tommy, Matt, Debbie, Adam and Stacey, and then further amplified by the laughter of her 12 great-grandchildren.

A woman of many talents, June had an insatiable creative spirit. Her hands were rarely still, as she found solace and joy in the rhythmic dance of knitting needles and the meticulous care of scrapbooking.

Cremation has taken place. A Memorial visitation will be held on Thursday December 14th from 12-1 pm followed by a Memorial Service at 1 pm at Brock and Visser Funeral Home (845 Devonshire Ave 519-539-0004).
