FORBES - At Woodingford Lodge on Sunday June 12, 2005. Julia Forbes (nee Burton) formerly of Admiral St., Woodstock in her 85th year. Beloved wife of the late Robert A. Forbes. Dear mother of Bonnie Koepke and her husband Brian of Woodland Beach, Robert of Woodstock and Jayne Brewster and her husband Gordon of Truro, Nova Scotia. Loved grandmother of Debra, Susan, Jeff, Matthew, Amanda, Charles, David and Andrew and great grandmother to 7 great grandchildren. Dear sister of Ruth Ross of Woodstock. Predeceased by 3 brothers and 2 sisters. Julia was a member of the Woodstock Curling Club for many years and active with the Wingate Raiders I.O.D.E. , Woodstock Chapter for 60 years. Friends may call at the R.D. Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (539-0004) on Tuesday 7-9 pm where the funeral service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday at 11:00 am with Rev. Ruth Butt officiating. Interment in the Presbyterian Cemetery. Contributions to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
