Judith Joyce "Judy" (Shoebottom) Down

DOWN, Judy - At Woodstock Hospital on Tuesday October 2, 2018. Judith "Judy" Joyce (nee Shoebottom) Down in her 88th year. Beloved mother of Tom Down and his wife Julie of Sarnia, Mike Down and his wife Karen of Port Bruce, Ed Down and his wife Cathy of Woodstock, and James Down of Beachville. Loved grandmother of Paul (Patty) Matuzic, Margaret Matuzich-Osmond (Dan Osmond), Roxanne (Scott) McFadzean, Travis Down, Trevor Down, Meagan (Scott) McGinnis, great grandmother of eight and is survived by her sisters-in-law; Dorothy Ward and Bertha VandeSlyke. Judy will always be remembered by her extended family and friends. Predeceased by her daughter Katherine Down, by her son Roger Down and sister Shirley Gibb. Judy was employed at the Woodstock Public Library for many years particularly working in the Children's library section and had been a long-time member of the Church of the Epiphany, Woodstock. Friends and relatives are invited to join the family at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Saturday October 13, 2018 from 10 - 11, where the complete memorial service will then be held in the funeral home chapel at 11:00 am.
