Joyce Ethel (Arthur) Sweazey

SWEAZEY, Joyce Ethel (nee Arthur) - Passed away peacefully, surrounded by the love of family at VON Sakura House on Thursday May 12th, 2016 in her 84th year. Beloved wife of Howard Sweazey for over 63 years. Loving mother of Glenn (Cate Hachigian) Sweazey, Robin (Sandy Durward) Sweazey, Lynn Thomas (Bessie) Sweazey, John (Joanne) Sweazey, Janice (Tom) Sweazey Fischer, James (Shelley Milos) Sweazey and Mark (Barb) Sweazey. Cherished grandmother of fourteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Dear sister of Keith (Betty) Arthur, Clare (Joan) Arthur, Don Arthur and Joan (Joe) Moses. Predeceased by her sister-in-law Frieda Arthur. Joyce was a longtime member of College Avenue United Church, as well as an avid ball player with the Huff and Puff League Slo- Pitch and a member of the Care Maestro's Sing-A-Long choir. Friends are invited to meet with the family at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (519-539-0004) on Monday May 16th, 2016 from 2- 4pm & 7- 9pm. The complete service will take place at College Avenue United Church, 22 Wilson Street, Woodstock on Tuesday May 17th, 2016 at 11:00 am.
