Joyce Irene (Carnegie) Carlisle

CARLISLE, Joyce Irene - Passed away peacefully, on Sunday September 2nd 2018, at Woodingford Lodge, Woodstock. Joyce I. Carlisle (nee Carnegie) of Woodstock in her 84th year. Beloved wife of over 63 years to James "Jim" K. Carlisle. Dear mother of Stephen (Andrea) Carlisle and Joanne (Rob) Davis. Doting grandmother of Alicia and Mike Davis, Andrew and Sam Carlisle and cherished great grandmother of Chloe, Randy, Faith, Shayla and Jacob. Joyce was born in Grandview, Manitoba, August 9, 1935, the daughter of the late Earl and Elsie Carnegie. Joyce is also survived by her sister Edith Hillman and brother-in-law Ken Forsythe as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family. Predeceased by her sisters Elaine Forsythe, Barbara Anne Carnegie and infant brother Walter Alexander Carnegie. Joyce was a licenced insurance broker for many years, a member of College Avenue Church as well as the UCW. Friends may visit with the family at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (519-539-0004), on Tuesday September 4th 2018 from 6-8 pm where the funeral service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday September 5th 2018 at 11:00 am.
