Josephine "Joyce" May Desormeaux

DESORMEAUX, Joyce - Passed away with her loving family by her side at her residence on Thursday September 21, 2017. Josephine "Joyce" M. (Nee Watts) Desormeaux of Barn Swallow Place Care Community, Elmira and formerly of Princeton in her 90th year. Beloved mother to Scott (Lori) Desormeaux. Cherished grandmother to Kyle (Bridget) and Kellen (Mary). Loved great grandmother to Nikolas, Elena, Peyton and Parker. She is survived by her sister-in-law Irene Watts, by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Predeceased by her parents; William and Alice (nee Foster) Watts and by her brothers Lloyd K. Watts, Calvin "Porky" W. Watts and by her niece Debra Zilke. Joyce trained and graduated as a Registered Nurse from Woodstock General Hospital. She then worked at the O.R.C. in Woodstock for over 30 years until her retirement. Friends are welcome to join the family at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Tuesday September 26, 2017 from 10:00 - 11:00 am, where the funeral service will be held in the chapel on Tuesday at 11:00 am with Rev. David Snihur officiating. Interment in the Princeton Cemetery. If desired, memorial contributions to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario or the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.
