Joseph Edward (Joe) Steele

STEELE- At Woodstock General Hospital on Wednesday July 7, 2004. Joseph (Joe) Edward Steele of R.R.# 5 Woodstock in his 74th year. Beloved husband of the late Barbara Joan Steele (nee Thomas)(2003). Dear father of Linda Lerno and Terry of Woodstock, Karen Tomlinson and Kim of Sarnia, Roberta Piec of Cold Lake, Alberta and Teresa McCutchen of Woodstock. Loved grandfather of 13 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Dear brother of Donna Coward and Don, Marie Dingman and Laverne. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Close companion of Barbara Pattinson. Joe was a member of the Korean Veterans Association as well as an avid hunter and fisherman. Friends may call at the R.D. Longworth Funeral Home 845 Devonshire Ave. Woodstock (539-0004) Saturday after 12:30 pm where the memorial service will be held in the chapel Saturday at 1:30pm with Father Alan Dufraimont officiating. Interment later in Burgessville Baptist Cemetery. Contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
