GARFAT - At the Woodstock General Hospital on Saturday September 27, 2008. Joseph "Joe" Weston Garfat of RR#5 Ingersoll Beloved husband for almost 61 years of Hazel Pauline Garfat (nee Peckham). Dear father of Larry Garfat (Shirley) of Sweaburg, Bob Garfat (Dorothy) of Sweaburg, Pat Clendinning (Doug) of Cobden, and Sandi Thomson (Ken) of Sweaburg. Loved grandfather of Jason (Corri), Sarah (Mike), Elizabeth (Keith), Adam (Heather), Dan (Jenn), Joe, Andrew and Michael and great grandfather of Tyson, Dakota, Chloe, and Lexi. Dear brother of Verna Richardson (Jim), Irene Dibble (Don) and brother-in-law of Donna Miles (Ed), Ken Sherman all of Woodstock, John Dakin of Oxford Centre and Bea Peckham of Innerkip. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Joe was a lifetime member of the Holstein Association, a Director and Past President of the North Blenheim Mutual Insurance Company and a member of Sweaburg United Church. Friends may call at the Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Tuesday September 30, 2008 from 2:30 - 4:30 pm and 7-9 pm where the funeral service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday October 1, 2008 at 1:30 pm.
