Joseph Paul Balga

Joseph Paul Balga, of London, peacefully passed surrounded by his friends and family at VON Sakura House on Thursday, May 1st, 2004, in his eighty-fourth year. Joseph will be missed by his special friend Pamela Short, his loving grandchildren Shawn Froats of London, Eric Froats (Wendy) of Kitchener, Colin McKay of Cherry Point, N.C., and Robert McKay of Woodstock. Joe is survived by his sister Helen Salyi of Simcoe, Ontario, and will also be missed by Gordon, David, Connie, Linda (Jessica), and Diane (Chantal). Joe was predeceased by his parents Joseph and Hermina Balga, and his sister Mary (Betty) Dobo; and is a proud great-grandfather of six grandchildren. Joseph Balga will be fondly remembered by his nephews and by his friends from St. Joseph's Hospital and the London Kennel Club. Cremation has taken place and a private time of family reflection and celebration of Joseph's life will take place at a later date.
