John "Cecil" Richardson

May 9, 1921 — October 21, 2020

RICHARDSON, J Cecil - Peacefully at the Woodstock Hospital on Wednesday October 21st, 2020. John Cecil Richardson formerly of RR #4 Woodstock in his 100th year. Beloved husband of the late Barbara Elizabeth (nee Yeoman) Richardson (2008). Dear father of Carol Grim and her husband Archie and father-in-law of Jim (Sue) Horvath and Shirley Richardson. Loved grandfather of Kevin (Sue) Horvath, Patricia Brassard (Ray), Jean Collins, Greg (T.J.) and Sherry Richardson, Shawn (Heather), Lisa and Kyle (Katie Hart) Grim. Cherished great-grandfather of 9, and great-great grandfather of 4. Survived by his sister Mary Eleanor (late Russell) Harris and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by son Terry Richardson (2020), daughter Joanne Horvath (2001), and grandson Brian Horvath (1974).  Cecil and his wife were life members of the Oxford Centre United Church.  Friends are invited to meet with the family at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave. Woodstock (519-539-0004) on Monday, October 26th, 2020 from 2:00 – 4:00 pm.  A private family service will take place at a later date.
