John Harvey "Jack" Wood

WOOD, John "Jack"- Peacefully at Woodstock Hospital on Saturday March 14th, 2015 in his 85th year. Beloved husband of Betty Wood (nee Scott) for over 60 years. Dear father of Blake Wood and his wife Carolyn. Cherished grandfather of Jordan. Caring brother of Bill Heatherington, Jim Richardson; brother-in-law of Nancy Kean and her husband Verne and Elinor Scott. Loved from afar, his grandchildren Jennifer, Jacob and Taylor. Survived also by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his sister Nettie Butcher, brother Glen Heatherington and brother-in-law Leif Scott. Jack was a lifetime member of Oxford Centre United Church, Men of Praise Choir, Drumbo & District Men's Choir, The Golden Triangle Model Engineers and was a Barbershopper. The funeral service will be held at the Oxford Centre United Church 714581 Middletown Line, Woodstock, on Monday March 16, 2015 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Sarah Grady officiating.
