John was the beloved brother of Margaret (Barney) Olah and sister-in-law Fay. He was predeceased by his siblings Mary, Kathleen, Irene, Helen, George, and Julie, as well as his parents, Mary and George. His extended family included several nieces and nephews, each of whom held a special place in his heart.
Throughout his life, John's work ethic and passion were evident in his love for standardbred horse racing. His horses were not just a hobby but a significant part of his life, bringing him joy and a sense of pride.
Those who knew John would describe him as funny, handy, and selfless. His sense of humor brought smiles to many, and his ability to fix anything made him the go-to person in times of need. John's selflessness was most apparent in his unwavering commitment to his family, whom he supported and loved unconditionally.
