John "Big John" Woch

WOCH- At his residence after a courageous battle with kidney failure, on Monday September 7th, 2009 surrounded by his loving family. John Woch (Big John) of the Maples Nursing Home Tavistock and formerly of Woodstock in his 63rd year. Beloved son of Ted Woch and the late Sofia (nee Jamroz). Cherished brother of Christine Bodnar (late Frank), Mary Wegiel and her husband John, Anna Yeandle and her husband Jeff. Loved uncle of Alex (Sean), Frank Jr. Natalia and her daughter Kyara; Mandy and Justin; Jeremy and Katie. Predeceased by his infant brother Joey. John was a longtime employee/broker with Laidlaw Carriers, Woodstock. Friends will be received at the Longworth Funeral Home 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock 519-539-0004 on Wednesday September 9th, 2009 from 6-9pm where the complete funeral service will be held in the chapel Thursday September 10th, at 1:30pm with Father Richard Dales celebrant.
