De Wit, John - At his residence on Tuesday January 10, 2012. John De Wit of Christian Horizons, Woodstock in his 61st year. Beloved son of the late John Hugo and Nellie De Wit. Loved brother of Alida Poort of Woodstock, Jean Vanderlaan of Exeter, Marie Lievaart and her husband Dan of Alberta and brother-in-law to Kryn VanOostveen of Lakeside, Trudy De Wit of Embro and Bernie DeJonge and his wife Linda of Kitchener. John is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Predeceased by his sisters Nell DeJonge, Willie Van Oostveen, brother Case De Wit and brothers-in-law Albert Vanderlaan and Richard Poort. Friends are invited to join the family for a celebration of John's life at Covenant Christian Reformed Church, 410 Lansdowne Ave., Woodstock on Saturday January 14, 2012 at 2:00 pm with a visitation to follow the service. Interment in the North Embro Cemetery.
