John William James Wettlaufer

WETTLAUFER, John William James “Jim” – Passed away with his daughter by his side at the Woodstock Hospital on Thursday August 19, 2021 five days after his 82nd birthday. Husband of the late Norma (nee Mustard) Wettlaufer (2017). Dear father of Marlene Wettlaufer (Ed Hurst), Brenda, Daniel and father-in-law of Jackie Wettlaufer. Grandfather of Billy, Jimmy, Dawson, Emma, Jake, Michael, Christopher and great grandfather of Sophie, Lilly, Jacob, and Seth. Brother to Mary Frost, Grace Grummett and uncle to many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his sons; Jack (Kim), Jay, Jim, and by his siblings; Roy Wettlaufer and Jean Crawford. Jim served with the RCAF from 1957 – 1960. He was a longtime member of the Royal Canadian Legion Br. #55, Woodstock and was a long-time employee of Timberjack, Woodstock. Cremation has taken place. An interment service will take place at a later date in the Innerkip Cemetery.
