WALLACE- At Woodstock General Hospital on Sunday April 4, 2004. John B. Wallace of Canterbury St. Woodstock in his 82nd year. Survived by: Keith (Son) Kathy & children Melissa and Matthew of Woodstock; Dave (Son) of Hamilton; Nancy Wallace (Daughter-in-law) of Oakville and children Martha and Brad Frenette, Kent and Andrea; Gary Bogden (Stepson) of Alberta and children Vanessa and Jeff; Mary Sanders (Special friend and companion) of Woodstock. Sister Jean Kitchen and Glen of Curries, brother Bev and Ruth of Woodstock, sister in-law Betty Wallace of Eastwood, brother Doug and Marlene of Muir, sisters-in-law Murtle Muriel and Elsie Stevenson, and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by first wife Jean (Stevenson) 1967, second wife Rita (Bogden/Grubbe)1996, son Grant (1992), brother Tom (2002), brothers-in-law Beryl, Jim and Ross Stevenson, Sister-in-law Helen Riach (Stevenson) and Max Riach. John was a member of Masonic Lodge # 108 Princeton, where he was Past Master and Past District Deputy Grand Master, a longtime member of Oxford Centre United Church as well as a former East Oxford councillor. Friends may call at the R.D. Longworth Funeral Home 845 Devonshire Ave. Woodstock (539-0004) Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9 pm where the complete funeral service will be held in the chapel Wednesday at 1:30 pm.
