SWICK - Suddenly at his residence on Monday, September 27, 2010. John A. Swick of Princeton in his 75th year. Beloved husband of Laura Swick (nee Janzen). Dear father of Larry (Janice) of Goderich, Elaine (Flint) Barnes of Eastwood and Steve (Christine) of Woodstock. Loved grandfather of Jonathan (Robin), Eustacia (Tyler) and Aaron; Rebecca (Dedan) and Montanna (Tyler); Tiffany (Ben) and Evan (Aurora), and cherished great grandfather of Dustin, Dylan and Noah. Dear brother of George Swick of St. Williams and Freida McLean of Delhi. Predeceased by his brother Harvey Swick and sister Velma Jones. John farmed tobacco in the Princeton area for over 20 years and was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed his hunting and fishing. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge # 178 Plattsville and a member of the Mocha Shrine Club in London. Friends may call at the Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (519-539-0004) on Wednesday, September 29, 2010 from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 pm, where the service will be held in the chapel Thursday, September 30 at 1:30 pm. Interment at the Innerkip Cemetery. If desired, contributions to the VON - Sakura House or the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be appreciated.
