John Spriel

SPRIEL, John . – On Tuesday October 26th 2021, John Spriel of Woodstock went to be with his true love, Ruth.  John passed away peacefully at Woodstock Hospital in his 88th year.  Cherished Dad, to Heather (Mark) Kennedy,  Brian (Deb) Spriel,  and Clarence (Tammy) Spriel. Treasured grandpa to Laura (Nathan) Malbrecht, Sarah (Steve) Radcliffe, Jenny Tennant, Nathen, Annika and Allea Spriel. Adored by great grandchildren Hudson and Cohen Malbrecht, and Sydney and Summer Radcliffe.  Predeceased by his parents Johannes and Neltje (nee VanHerk)  Spriel.   Friends are welcome to join the family at Brock and Visser Funeral Home 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (519-539-0004) on Thursday October 28th 2021 from 6-9 pm.  The Funeral Service will be held at Emmanuel Reformed Church, 170 Clarke St N, Woodstock on Friday October 29th , 2021, at 11:00 am, with Reverend Peter Burrill officiating. Interment in the Oxford Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Emmanuel Reformed Church or Woodstock Hospital would be appreciated.
