SLAGHT, John "Jack" K. - Passed away with a broken heart on Wednesday, February 10th, 2016 at Caressant Care Nursing Home, Woodstock, in his 87th year. Beloved husband of the late Helen Joyce (nee Tolman) Slaght (Jan. 19, 2016). Loving father of Judy Slaght (Joe Huxley) and Janice (Peter) Courtney. Cherished grandfather of Carrie (Rodney) Cromwell, Jamie (Cindy) Courtney, Emily (Andrew) Huxley Osborne, Laura Huxley and great-grandfather of five. Dear brother of Gordon (Bonnie) Slaght and Wayne (Jo-Anne) Slaght. Brother-in-law to Anna Tolman, John Offless, Dwight MacKay, Harold (Virginia) Tolman and Evelleen McGillivray. Predeceased by his brother Edward Slaght and by his sister Jean MacKay. A private funeral service will take place at a later date.
