John Renkema

The Lord was pleased to take home to Himself, John Renkema in his 87th year.  Born February 23, 1938 Holwierde Groningen Netherlands-March 6, 2024 Woodstock Ontario. Loving husband of Wilma Renkema(nee Kranenburg).  Dear father of Melinda & Jeff De Haan, Annette & Martin De Vries, Jason Renkema, Derek Renkema, Bryan & Christine Renkema, Elizabeth & Donnie Greer,  Ken & Nicole Renkema, Christine & Cliff Janssens, Michael Renkema, Katherine & Jeff Bokma, Janet & Stephen VanMaanen. Loved by many grand and great grandchildren.  Dear brother of the late Pete & late Anne Renkema, Etty & late Klaas Leistra,
Bill & Ann Renkema, Paul & Teresa Renkema, Matt & Nelda Renkema, Jean & Mike Talsma. Dear brother-in-law of Harry & Joan Kranenburg, late Bill Kranenburg, Alyce & Henry Aukema, Nancy & Peter Tillberg.

Visitation will take place on Sunday, March 10, 2024 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at the Maranatha Christian Reformed Church,  735 Frontenac Crescent, Woodstock, Ontario.

Funeral Service will take place on Monday March 11, 2024 at 11am at the church with a luncheon to follow.  Private family burial to take place in the spring. If you so desire, donations to Indwell or Operation Sharing would be appreciated.
