John Murray Nethercott

NETHERCOTT, Murray - At the Woodstock Hospital on Friday February 27, 2015 in his 91st year. Beloved husband of Marilyn (nee Hancock) Nethercott for over 65 years. Dear father to Martha Nethercott and Rev. Tim Nethercott. Loved grandfather of Esme and brother to Alma Stone and her husband George. Predeceased by his brothers; Harold (Marie), Frank, Stewart (Ruth) and Rev. Charles (Ru th). Murray was the past owner/operator of Nethercott Press in Woodstock. He served with RCAF and was a past member of Oxford Baptist Church. Murray loved to work and could usually be found in the shop or in the asparagus. Friends are invited to join with the family at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Saturday March 7, 2015 after 1:00 pm, where the complete memorial service will be held in the chapel on Saturday at 2:00 pm. Cremation has taken place. Interment later in the Baptist Cemetery. If desired, memorial contributions to the charity of one's choice would be appreciated.
