MITCHELL - At Woodstock General Hospital on Sunday, March 18, 2007, surrounded by his family. John Mitchell of Innerkip in his 81st year. Beloved husband of Irene Ella Mitchell (nee Hartley). Dear father of Carol MacLachlan (Douglas), Ted (Lee) all of Innerkip, Richard (Janet) of Woodstock, Dan (Darlene) of Innerkip. Loved grandfather of Rob (Diane), Kim (Ian), Jason (Amberly), Stacey (Bill), Sandra (Brett), Andy (Jill), David (Keri), Shawna (Ian), Kevin (Jenn), Lori (Karl) and great grandfather of Jessica, Scarlett, Jacob, Cameron, Cayden, Tim, Alley, Jeff, Megan, Kristen and Angus. There will be a private family funeral to celebrate John's life at the R.D. Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, (519-539-0004) with Rev. David Snihur officiating.
