MENSINK - At Caressant Care, Woodstock on July 31, 2006, four days after his 84th birthday. Johan "John" Mensink, formerly of RR# 2, Innerkip, where he was proud to be a farmer for 56 years. Beloved husband of the late Geesje "Grace" Mensink (Feb. 2006). Dear father of Jenny Hallock (George), Willemina Pallister (Lloyd), Janet Mutch (David), Art Mensink (Linda), John Mensink (Jayne), Nancy Walker (Donald) and Ann Fenske (George). Cherished grandfather of fourteen, great grandfather of sixteen and great-great grandfather of four. Predeceased by his father, Jan Mensink and his mother Jennigje Kiefman, five brothers and one sister. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. Friends may call at the R. D. Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave. Woodstock, (519-539-0004) on Wednesday August 2, 2006 from 2:30-4:30 and 7-9 pm , where the funeral service will be held in the chapel on Thursday at 12:30 pm with Rev. Chris Little officiating. Interment in the Innerkip Cemetery.
