John Calder "Jack" Mcgachie

McGachie - At the Woodstock General Hospital on Wednesday May 5, 2010. Jack Calder McGachie of Woodstock in his 87th year. Beloved husband of the late Eileen (nee McMillan) McGachie (1990) and the late Marion (Wylie) McGachie (2009). Dear father of Bonnie Virtue and her husband Bruce of Woodstock and Angus McGachie (Judy Kish) of Ingersoll. Loved grandfather of Monica, Heather, step grandfather of Pete Kish (Robin), Mike Kish (Sarah Jones) and step great grandfather of Marina Kish. Dear brother of Pauline and Helen. Jack was a longtime member of the Ingersoll Pipe Band, Masonic Lodge member with King Solomon's Lodge # 43, AF & AM, a Mocha Shrine Pipe Band member, the Navy Club and was a veteran of WW II serving with the R.C.N. Friends may call at the Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Friday May 7, 2010 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm, where the complete funeral service will be held in the chapel on Saturday at 2:30 pm with Rev. David Snihur officiating. Interment later in the Presbyterian Cemetery. Contributions to the Canadian Diabetes Association, Ingersoll Pipe Band or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
