MALAN - At his home on Wednesday March 7, 2007. John E. Malan of Woodstock in his 98th year. Beloved husband of the late Roma E. (nee Taylor) Malan (1994) for over 60 years. Dear father of Terry and his wife Pauline and Nancy Matheson all of Woodstock. Loved grandfather of Cindy, Terra-Lynn, Shawn, Cheryl and survived by several great grandchildren. Predeceased by one brother and two sisters. John was the last surviving member of his own family. Friends may call at the R.D. Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Saturday March 10, 2007 after 3:00 pm where the complete funeral service will be held in the chapel on Saturday at 4:00 pm. Interment later in the North Embro Cemetery. Contributions to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario or the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.
